In the past, people were required to stand still for 30 seconds or more in front of the camera. At the early phase of the photography, a piece of photograph was generated with ‘the accumulated time’. Currently, we photograph with exposure time of 1/125, 1/250 or 1/8000 second, which is a moment not ‘time’. When looking into the viewfinder, I always feel the subject swinging in the wind or standing firm in gravity. I desire to accumulate the every moments passing before the lens again. Through the series ‘30sec.’, I would present the photography as ‘accumulated time’.
